british citizenship documents

hi their my husband is from morocco and has been here in the uk since 2011 and has a ILR were now looking to apply for british citizenship for him but not sure what documents we need! can anyone advise on this and does he have to be working to apply

There is no requirement to be in work or to provide financial data (income/etc).

Basic Documents:
- Passport
- BRP
- English test
- LITUK test
- 2 Referee declarations
The application system will generate a checklist of requirements - documents are scanned/uploaded - you keep all originals.

thank you so much for the reply and help its very much appreciated :)
as reguards for english test would that be the life in uk test , he already has esol english that he did in college in 2012.
what are the fees as all i can find is 1330 but i want to make sure we have enough incase more fees come up

Normally both English and LITUK tests are required.
Did he provide an English test for ILR? - he could rely on that. I don't believe a college test from 2011 would be valid anymore as such.

An English test result passed at CEFR level B1.

does that count the esol ? he did do a ielts english level b1 in order to come to the uk or does he have to do another one

If the B1 was used for a successful application before and still on HO current list.
