Regarding FLR M application

Post by Faireena » Sun May 22, 2022 9:28 am

Hello everybody, I am going to file my FLR (M) application tomorrow
So basically I will be working as a doctor for NHS from next month , I have signed the contract already. Am I exempted from the IHS surcharge ?
Also my current BRP is valid till 16 th June 2022 and I will be submitting the online application tomorrow ( 23 rd May) . Is this an appropriate date or should I delay for a few more days .
I am showing my husband’s payslip , the last one is from 28 th April . If I submit the documents online on 26 th May morning will it be fine ? Coz I have read that they consider only the date on which online application was submitted to calculate the 28 day rule .

Do I need hard copies of the documents or soft copies will suffice ? My husbands bank statements are sent to him via email . These statements are on bank stationery but they are online . They are neither stamped nor signed.

Similarly our council tax bills can be copied from our online account . Do they need to follow the 28 day rule ?

Also do I need to take all the papers with me for my biometric appointment or just my passport as I have found that they no longer need any papers.

I have read that the home office would only need proof of cohabitation and marriage certificate as proof of relationship. I have not therefore collected photographs and WhatsApp chat history.

I have passed Ielts B1 as Naric was difficult to obtain from the university back home. I hope that’s alright.

Finally if somebody has a list of all the documents they submitted recently ,can they please post them .

Not required

Proof of cohabitation

Hello, I have collected as many letters as possible . I just want an answer if they are enough, more than enough or insufficient . I know the rule of 6 items of correspondence jointly addressed or 12 items separately addressed ( 6 each) over at least 2 years. I just need to know if these are something acceptable or not,to be extra sure.

Online application - tomorrow 23 rd May 2022
First entered UK- 23 rd September 2019
BRP- valid till 16 th June

Letters :

1) Letter from British Gas ( jointly addressed) Jan 2020
2) council tax bill ( jointly addressed) March 2020
3) Nhs registration confirmation ( to applicant) April 2020
4) Retirement company ( to sponsor ) May 2020
5) NHS wales ( to applicant ) July 2020
6) home insurance agency ( to sponsor) July 2020
7) NHS letter ( to applicant ) august 2020
8 student finance letter ( to sponsor) Oct 2020
9) letter to vote from Birmingham city council (to applicant) dec 2020
10) Council tax bill ( jointly addressed) March 2021
11) British Gas bill ( jointly addressed) July 2021
12) water bill ( jointly addressed) July 2021
13) Octopus energy bill ( change of electricity supplier, Jointly addressed ) Sept 2021 to Dec 2021
14) Octopus energy bill ( jointly addressed) Dec 2021 to March 2022
15) water bill ( jointly addressed ) 10 th May 2022

If they are more than needed then i will continue putting all of them , however if they are insufficient or due to any reason might lead to a rejection, please let me know .
Thanks again for all the help

P.S - the reason I have put a lot of separately addressed letter between March 2020 and March 2021 is because I was very unwell and there was no way possible I could have saved all letters, so I have put anything I could find. I do it have anything jointly addressed between March 2020 and March 2021.

The highlighted above is sufficient. You don't how to overload them with docs. I probably have chosen 7/14, feel free to reduce it to 6/12.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

They had actually asked for my husband’s passport by specifically mentioning his name in that section.
Thank you for reviewing the document checklist .
