Parent of Irish citizen child to get Schengen visa

Anyone had same situation?
when I looked in their website:
if you hold stamp4 and parent of Irish citizen child and travelling together to one of Schengen countries
you need visa but have to provide less document
anyone done that???

You still need to apply for visa. Some embassies consider you as a family member of eu citizen, but others do not. If you apply as a family member of eu citizen the visa is free, you need to present smaller number of documents and you need to travel with your child (accompany your child). You have to check it with the embassy where you are planning to get your visa if they allow you to apply as eu family mamber

I only got an eu family member shengen visa for 1 year in Embassy of Greece, but haven’t travelled yet. I needed only tickets to prove the child is travelling with me, child Irish passport and shengen visa application form

I think you can get it for up to 5 years? If you have previous history and all ofc

do they look your stamp expire date?for example when you return to Ireland person should have minimum 3 months stamp?

Validity can vary, doesn´t change the 90 in 180 days rule, though.
