Anybody got such reply, can you let me know, I am eager to estimate the timelines it could be assessed.
Will there be another enquiry from BHC apart from Integra, that's what BHC people said to my HR when our HR asked that she already got a verification call regarding this and that this is the second one, they said that the first one could be from Integra Screening Department, and this is from BHC.

When I mailed BHC about the status of the mail today, got a reply "The enquiries on your application are complete. The application is waiting in a queue to be assessed by the Entry Clearance Officer. We will keep you updated on the outcome of the same."

Ph Nos : (044) 42192308 and 42192310 are open on all working days Monday to Thursday between 0830-1130hrs and Friday 0830 - 1030hrs.
But, 15 working days should be elapsed after your application reaching BHC for them to answer your query, otherwise they would not.

I applied for EC on 4th Sept 08 and I did not my status yet.

Yesterday I mailed BHC, Chennai and I recieve the reply as below:


Thank you for your e-mail.
A decision is yet to be made on your visa application.

I am sorry I am unable to give you a timeframe for a decision. Due to the large influx of applications in this category, there has been a backlog and we are doing our best to clear the same.

We will keep you updated on the outcome of the same.

I got a call from my house saying that I have received the courier from Chennai and the Visa has been granted for 3 Yrs. Here are the timelines

Results - Granted/Approved (01/01/2009 to 01/01/2012)

Though it seems to be done, final time of tense moments until I get the passport with the visa

My details:

Applied on 24/09/2008 from VFS Chennai. Got my Tier1 visa today!!!! Status change on VFS website on 10th Nov.

I have been a silent member of this forum for a long time now. While this forum is very helpful, it had also given me several anxious moments since some of the assumptions made by the members here are incorrect and baseless. Coming to the point:

FD's are acceptable as long as its been held for 3 months. For proof, I gave FD statement and letter from bank confirming that the funds are liquid and can be withdrawn by me anytime.

Joint account with parents is also acceptable. I had a joint account with my mother and I did not submit any NOC.

If you are not applying with dependant, but he / she might join you before 12 months, you can just mention that in the application form and show 2800 pounds. Thats what I did. It is acceptable. I mentioned that I will show 4400 pounds (held for last 3 months) when applying for my dependant.

While most of these decisions may be made on a case by case basis, What I have learnt in this long and ordeal waiting process is that:

Read the guidance thoroughly and provide valid documentation. Do not lie or forge any documents.

Seems almost all September applicants are through with their processes, no update on this thread since 11th Nov. ..

I had applied on 4th Sept....got refusal on 24th Sept....applied for AR on 7th Oct.....called up BHC Delhi yesterday....and was told that its on the Case Officers desk now.... i should expect a result in the next 3/4 days... Hearts been pounding hard since ...

Amazingly these people say we consider 28 days from the time we have been able to upload ur application (AR) in our system...which happened on 21st Oct....they had sent an acknowledgement on that day...which i am yet to receive ... ...

Anyways.....just a week or more hopefully now....
