Ten year partner route

Post by DANIELKHAN123 » Thu Jun 09, 2022 1:26 pm

My wife completed 10 years in UK

(Completed 5 years on Tier-4 Dependent)

&

( Completed 5 years on Spouse Visa)

But when the last decision came the immigration officer written listed below in the letter,

***I am writing to inform you that you have been granted a period of 30 months limited leave to remain on the ten year partner route under paragraphs D LTRP1.2. of Appendix FM to the Immigration Rules, as we are satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs R-LTRP1.1.(a), (b) and (d) of these Rules. You may be eligible to apply for settlement after completing at least 10 years under this route. ***

So what about her 5 years on Tier-4 Dependent, UKVI will not consider that, So she have to apply for 2.5 and 2.5 years again to qualify for ILR.

please advise.

Once she's done 10 years in whatever combined category, she can apply for ILR LR
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Did they explain why/how she had failed under the 5-year route?
