Query on Applying from India

Hi Guys,

I was in UK from the past one and half year and recently(couple of months back) came back to india. I am planning to apply for Tier-1 from India. If any one can answer the questions below, that will be great.

1. Can i claim points under UK experience. The reason why i am asking this question is for previous earnings i am showing India and UK earnings. The Tier-1 guidance says that if you claim points under previous earnings from UK, then you can claim points under UK experience. Since i am showing both the earnings, i am doubtful whether i can claim points under UK experience.

2.Majority of my earnings are from UK, Can i show Maintenance funds from indian bank.

3. please let me know where i can find Intergra verification form

Hi Prashanth,

Point 1: You can claim points under UK experience provided your earnings are earned in UK and are not less than 16000/- GBP. So in case you qualify with your UK earnings only you can claim for UK experience. You cant claim your Indian earnings then.

Point 2: Yes you can show your Indian bank savings for maint fund if you are in India now.

Point 3: You can just walk into any VFS UK office and get the integra form.

Hi Vijay,

I am not clear on the below:

"You cant claim your Indian earnings then. "

I need 40 points from Previous earnings and i can show earnings as below:

GBP 22700 -> UK earnings -> Since this is > GBP 16000 i can claim UK experience as well.
INR 200000(When uplift applied GBP 12900)

Cumulative of the above is >GBP 35000, so i think i can claim 40 points for previous earnings and 5 points for UK experience.

please let me know if my assumption is wrong.
