Date first arrived in the UK - Naturalisation

Post by Shah1698 » Sat Jun 11, 2022 1:14 pm

Hi experts,

I am applying for British citizenship from ILR + 1 year (obtained through Tier 2 general 5 years route)

I first arrived in the UK in October 2010 on a business visit visa and I visited UK several times on visit visas before I got the Tier 2 general visa in September 2015.

I first arrived in the UK on Tier 2 general in September 2015.

My question is which date should I enter as "date first arrived in the UK in AN application" - Is first date i.e, October 2010 or the date I first arrived on Tier 2 general visa which is September 2015?

Could someone advice me on this please? Thanks

Shah

Sep 2015 - that's when you arrived for the long-term.
