Divorce and citizenship application

Post by wish_uk » Thu Jun 23, 2022 12:01 am

Dear All!
Can some tell me please,
During divorce procedure what is my relationship status?
I mean we are given until 12 oct to apply for final order.

Secondly,
Can i make citizenship application before we receive final divorce.

What shall i put in relationship status while filling cotizenship application?
At next page there is a question, are you family member of eu cit? So that you can use your settlement brc. If we are in btw divorce process, what shall i click, yes or no.

Thank you

Thank you

Correct.
Naturalisation is not an immigration application, like EU Settled Status, ILR, etc, has it's own basis in law and separate requirements. It doesn't have the concept of dependent or sponsored application, each person has to satisfy the requirements and applies individually.
