Graduate Visa Processing Times

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help. My friend has applied for his Graduate Visa since May, we are approaching 8weeks now. He has had no communication to confirm if its been approved or not. He has a reference number but when we called the contact number its an automated service which basically says sorry for any delays but we will either contact you for more information or once a decision has been made. Is there anything we can do to find out the status or how long a decision will take?

8 weeks is the standard quoted processing time. Sometimes a bit quicker, sometimes a bit slower. It's just a matter of waiting.

What's the urgency that the applicant is trying to contact the Home Office about it even before the 8 weeks are up?
