Visitor Visa - Leave letter? Priority ?

Hello,

Can someone please advise if a salaried person wishes to apply for a UK visitor visa - Do they need to provide a letter from employer confirming they have taken leaves/ holiday OR just a letter confirming employment and other details is sufficient?

Any personal experiences?

Also - is the priority service available in India? When I got to application page and the payment option I only see the standard option and standard fees.

That is almost certainly not necessary, but would be helpful to the application. It would demonstrate to the Entry Clearance Officer that the applicant has a reason to return back to their country of habitual residence at the end of their leave.
