Permanent residency application

Post by Aniljose17 » Tue Jul 05, 2022 6:29 pm

Hi I’ve been living in uk for 11 years now and am going to apply for my permanent residency now. I think I have ccj is that gonna affect my application. Do I have to provide all the documents from the last 11 years?. Can anyone give me some advice and full details how to apply.

ILR under long residence has specific requirements. Provide your immigration history and details of your absences in the last 10 years. CCJ on its own has no effect on your ILR

It is not about how long you lived here. Your residence must have been lawful and continuous. Your absences must be below 540 days in the last 10 years. This is why I asked for your immigration history

I came as a student 2011, got married applied for the visa in 2013, refused and we went for appeal and interviews in Manchester that got failed again and appealed again. Then we had a baby, we put a new application form and I got the visa on 2016, since then I was in the dependent visa in between I got divorced, I just talked to a solicitor now and he said my visa is not continuous, is that a problem for me to apply for 10 year route permanent residency.

Given that you have not provided the exact dates, I cannot advise you on your continuous stay
