urgent help/suggestions/advise required!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and posting for the first time, hoping to get a lot of feedback for everyone.
something really unfortunate happened with one of my close friends on sunday. she had completed her studies (masters course) in uk in august, and since she had completed her studies she started a fulltime job in september. (she did not break any immigration law by working during termtime). her student visa was due to be expired on jan 31st, so she had plenty of time to apply for the Post-study work she thought she'll apply some time before jan, but last week as her father was seriously ill she had to travel back to india to see him and she could not apply for the PSW before that, she is very much elligible for PSW as she has a uk masters degree and enough funds but upon her arrival today the immigration officer denied her entry into uk, they gave her only 4 days temporary entry and kept her passport, she even told them that she is going to apply for the PSW soon but they did not listen, does any one have any suggestions what can be done now, and what are the chances of getting the PSW if she goes back and applies it from india, can this denied entry into uk be a reason for further denial of the PSW to her. she is flying back to india tommorow and will apply for PSW from india on monday.

any sort of suggestions will be much appreciated as we are in dire straits.
many thanks in advance.

Sohail.
