travel on spouse visa

Post by vickivickii » Sat Nov 15, 2008 10:52 pm

thankfully, my albanian husband received his spouse visa last week.

i'm clueless on the subject of where we can travel with ease. obviously, as my husband was in the uk illegally we have never been on a holiday together, so would really like to start to do a bit of travelling!

is there anywhere we can travel with ease? or does he have to get visa's for everywhere?

for eg, would he be able to go to the carribean with me?

Hi vickivickii,

Also have a look at the below Wiki page. Not always reliable, I know, but should at least be indicative if nothing else!

vickivickii, congratulations on your husband getting the visa. Great news!

Where to holiday? Suggest you start by getting a Schengen visa from the French Consulate in London. That will not just permit travel to France but also to lots of other countries also in the Schengen area.

Thanks Benifa.

Thank you John, so pleased!

Is it easy to get a Schengen visa?

useful qantas site. I tested it out with my details and found the following issue.
Caveat, do not use the transit countries, it tends to assume you are a citizen of that country and then acts like you dont need visas for countries you actually do.
