Made a mistake in Online Application for UK Naturalisation - Mentioned UTR in place of Tax Office reference

Post by Ihaveaquery » Thu Aug 04, 2022 12:20 am

Hi All,

This is regarding a recent online application for my wife's UK naturalisation/citizenship, by mistake UTR was mentioned in place of the Tax Office reference in her online application.

She is a permanent employee and Tax Office reference should have been mentioned.

Her application is already completed and submitted, all the supporting documents have also been uploaded/submitted.

Please advise if this could mistake impact her application, and is there anyway that this can be corrected.

Looking forward to get a response. Thanks.

In itself shouldn't be a problem, the NI number is a key to almost all tax data.
But you could email UKVI with all the personal data/reference and provide the missing reference: furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.
