Hello, I searched for months the method to work legally in France, we are from Morocco. my husband receive offers of work but the employers say they can't give permits to work

! How can we have the permit for a long period? I said that we already have Schengen visa type D valid for 2 years ...

It's a bit of a catch-22. A French company would need to sponsor you or your husband for a work permit. They would need to show that they can't find someone qualified to do the job in France, or within the EU. This means that sponsorship is pretty rare. Companies will generally do this if you have a specialized background and some unique skills. It's sometimes easier if you join an international company that has offices in France and then transfer to a role there.

I'm not clear on what type of Schengen Visa you have. Under what circumstances did you get the visa? Was it issued for France specifically? Generally, Schengen visas are for temporary travel and do not allow working.

In fact we have received this visa for reasons typicaly touristic ... but I heard that it is possible to work with it...
My husband already working in an international society but he want to change and change his status to the Free-lance ... so I don't know how this works ...
Regarding the European blue card is it made for such cases? and when will it start?

No work on a tourist visa, no way, big trouble otherwise.

And the EU Bluecard is a dream - maybe 15 years time, as of now it doesn't exist....
