IHS work start date incorrect

Hello Everyone,

I have a query, I am currently working on ICT visa and got a skilled worker Visa sponsorship from an organization. my COS start date was 5-Dec-2022, which later changed to 10-NOV-2022. I have submitted my Visa application with correct details but while doing IHS payment I have entered Work Start date as 5-Dec-2022 as I will join the company on that after after serving my notice period. I have done both IHS and Visa application payments and yet to take biometrics appointment.

Home office suggested I have to enter IHS work start date as 10-Nov instead of 5-Dec. Will my Visa be refused If I go ahead with this application? Some suggested to attach Cover Letter mentioning this. Please advice whether i cancel the request and raise a new one or how to proceed as I want to eliminate Visa refusal risk.
