A UK ILR holder just needs to submit the passport(s) covering the residency period, not much paperwork.true_007 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 1:30 pmHello , thnks for reply. What i dont get is once a person has ILR then after 1 year they can apply for citizenship? Why they have to prove 5 years again even when they decide to apply for it years later? I don t know about this well this is why i am confused?
Passport might be sufficient to prove 5 year residency, if she's a non-EU passport holder. Hence her passport gets stamped every time she arrives in the UK (Except she uses the E-gates as well, maybe American, Australian etc).
