paid holidays

Hello all

1.I am v soon applying for ILR , i want to reconfirm paid holidays is disregraded , as i read in this forum and in annex F as well , my days are 207 and my paid holidays are 40 days that is eg: 10 days , 15 days , again 15 days which is fully paid . I dont want to waste my fees . i only get 4 weeks paid leave .

Do you think i will pass .

2...annex F says holidays consistent with annual paid leave is disregarded . so while calculating 180 days they will not count paid holidays .

Please advice me .

Nothing is DISREGARDED if they are absences. It says may be disregarded so it is up to their discretion.
THEY might make concessions for them and not count them against you but that is up to the case worker.
Read the guidance and decide for yourself
We can't tell you they will disregard them for your convenience.
However I wouldn't worry about 257 days total absence since its not too far from 225 days as it is.
As for wasting fees, I think that is shortsided
If you get ILR, great but if don't apply you still have to renew your current permit and it will add up anyway so you are better off taking a chance.

Get a letter from your employer(s) giving the dates of each of your paid leaves. That will be proof of your paid leave.

Thank You paulp , i already took letter from my employer stating i get 4 weeks paid leave annually eg : two weeks summer two weeks christmas. + my paid slips , is that enough . moreover when i used to travel i always take a letter from employer that i am travelling in holidays . is this enough.

Sorry I didn't see your reply. It would help to get a letter from your employer giving the exact dates that you were on holiday for every one of the past five years.

That way, the caseworker will be able to account for each of your absences.
