Earliest date of application for ILR under skilled worker

Hi all,

Please can I forward this question to the forum ? My question is regarding the EARLIEST date that I could apply for ILR.

Initial visa issued: 11.09.2017
Entered UK: 18.09.2017

I am applying via priority route. So date of decision is most likely not going to be after 18.09.2022. (So cant take advantage of the date of decision rule).

Can I apply on the 20.08.2022? This is assuming my qualifying period is starting on 18.09.2017.

(On the application I dont have a space to specify the date of the start of the qualifying period. It only asks for the date on entry. Which is 18.09.2017.)

If I am allowed to take the period between issuance of entry clearance and actual date of entry into the qualifying period, do I have to list 11.09.2022 - 17.09.2022 under my list of absences from UK?

Does the qualifying period get completed on the anniversary day of the start date ? Or the day before?

Qualifying period starts from the date first visa was issued. You apply within 28 days of completing your 5 years. You do not tell UKVI what is that date. The use their data to make decisions as per rules. You provide all the details of your absences on the form

Thank you for the prompt response. Points noted.

There is a typo on my first message. Do I have to include the period from when entry clearance was granted to when I actually entered, i.e. 11.09.2017 to 17.09.2017 as a period of absence when I list absences. Thanks again.
