Hey guy
I applied to renew my child's PP, now HMPO sent me email to send any foreign PP,
He is british by birth and have a foreign pp which is expired with different surname, the surname is different by only one letter which is 'Q' since this letter doesn't exist in the foreign pp, they changed it to 'KU' instead of Q.
Wow, wow, wow, wow. It took me a while to read and comprehend this. I finally understood that you meant PP = passport. Specially because you are talking about actual letters 'KU'/'Q' (maybe next time write the whole word for passport, don't use acronyms, to make your message more readable). My brain is still adjusting to this weird experience.
First question is, which spelling did you use on the application/registration form?
I really don't want to send them foreign pp as we have booked holidays and don't have much time left.
I'm sorry to say that is not a valid reason not to send a passport. It has to be done. Maybe just apply after you have returned from your holiday.
Can i just say he doesn't have a foreign pp?
You need to be truthful.
Or any idea what will process with different surnames?
You might or might not find
