Got Approval asking for GNIB

Post by rajashahidaly » Wed Sep 14, 2022 12:27 pm

Dear members
Could someone guide me here,
I recently received letter mentioning that minister proposes to grant my application....
They have asked me to submit fee, along with up todate GNIB in next 28 days.
My GNIB expired on 4th September and i have applied for renewal already but haven't got the new one yet.
My question is can i send me expired GNIB as i dont want to miss the boat to be included for December ceremony, or its wise to wait for an indate GNIB before sending the application for ceremony?

Regards

when and where did you apply?
if you're in Dublin, check the timeline threads and see if you can make it
doubt expired one will do, honestly
plus factor in the time it takes for mail to get there

When you apply for your renewal, the letter or confirmation or whatever proof you have should contain Oreg number (which is a proof that shows you have valid IRP) also check timeline thread but worst case scenario you can send that letter/number as proof that you applied for renewal along with your expired GNIB.

Just my 2 cents
