Just updated the 2020 timelines thread with my approval which arrived yesterday (application date was Nov 2020).

My first vetting was done last year June 2021. Then they sent me another evetting in January 2022 that the minister requested an upto date vetting and disclosure was viewed in February 2022 until now no approval. Working full time. Am confused

If I were you I would do an FOI request to Garda for all the records they might have on you. It is pretty straightforward and they revert to you in less than one month.

My vetting was done in late feb and viewed 3weeks later. I haven’t heard a word from Inis since then . Almost 7months later.

Send an email to citizenshipinfo@justice.ie asking for the status of your application. I also waited 4 months after the evetting till I sent the email and 1 week later I got the approval. Also after paying I waited for 8 weeks for the payment to be processed after those 8 weeks I sent another email that day it was processed.
I feel sometimes emailing them works, we should not just wait because it seems they forget some archives.

My letter required me to post photos and IRP copy to DOJ but doesnt mention anything about fee. My wife's letter require uploading photo, IRP online as well as payment of fee online. Both letters state that certificates will be given at ceremony. I want to check how other people are getting approval letters and how should I pay the fee? Before Covid, Processing time was 5-6 months from Application pick to completion
after covid, DoJ made lot process automated and digitalised but now application pick to completion, the processing time is 23 months.. WOW what a Digitalisation

If anybody is still left waiting for approval here, I suggest you send an email to the citizenship division. It looks like now they are quicker in replying. Don't forget to mention your ID number on email subject. What helped in my case was being straight to the point, mentioning date of application and how long ago the evetting result was viewed by the citizenship division. Good luck

Application Based On: 5 years residence (Stamp 1 Critical Skills followed by Stamp 4, non-EU)
Applied Date: 01 October 2020
Application received Date: 05 October 2020 (Tipperary D.S.U., Co Tipperary)
Acknowledgement Date and Passport return: Received a phone call 09 February 2021 to confirm the address and they said passport will arrive in 2 or 3 days.
Second Letter: pending
Approval: pending
Date of Ceremony: pending

E-vetting Invitation: Received 18 October 2022, but only received the guideline for filling-up the form and declaration of fidelity form.

Does anybody have a scanned document NVB1(a) Form - Vetting Invitation? Searching the net, but can't find one.

I had the same issue and I contacted them on Twitter and this was their response:

Hi there, thank you for getting in touch! According to our system this item was delivered this morning. As this item was sent to an address that would receive a number of registered mail items every day each item cannot be signed for and scanned individually on delivery. The items requiring signatures are added to a delivery bill that is signed for on delivery. This delivery bill with the signature will be uploaded and available on our site in the coming days.

So I wouldn't worry but you can contact them on social media if you're too concerned. Also this is the form in case you need it:

They don't care, I sent them black and white printed form with text fields barely visible (I had to put a tick to a non existent box area bcs of black and white) and still got the eVetting link.

Just don't forget the add passport print with the form.

Edit: Also add your citizenship application number on top of the form. At least my solicitor wrote that manually on top of the first page.

I use to be in cmu 6 and I thought that was the last stage processing. Am really confused of repeatatations. Anyone in the same class with me. Are they going to ask for another vetting for the 3rd time?
