BRP card employer change

I am on Tier 2 visa hence have a BRP (Biometric Residence Card) only. I am going to change job and my employer change visa application has been successful. I called HO to find out BRP card delay, but surprisingly they said that I won't get any new BRP card!! My BRP will remain the same and new employer will have to use RTW shared code. Can anyone share relevant gov.uk policy about this please?
