Minor naturalisation- continuous residence

Post by ENERG » Wed Oct 12, 2022 1:49 pm

Hi All,
I am planning to apply for naturalisation of my minor child on my behalf as a parent (father). This year my child has stayed approx 90 days outside Ireland with his mother for holidays. I being a parent will provide my own recognable stamps to process the application I did not Leave Ireland this year but my minor child stayed 90 days outside Ireland this year.

Can you please advise if my child has to continuously live Ireland for a year before submitting application or me being a parent submitting application on behalf of minor and I didn’t leave Ireland this year can submit application now without waiting another year?
