Well there you have it, a succinct summary of the UK job market by our leading business correspondent Wanderer.

To be fair the UK land of milk and honey is now rapidly being replaced by water and saccharine.

You can survive if you are in a job but it is going to be a bitter pill if you lose your role. As for new roles - forget it! There are so many people chasing the jobs unless you are something very special in your work area do not bother coming to the UK. You will also find the jobs that are on offer are not going to non EEA workers. Taking on non EEA workers costs money and additional administrative functions. With the huge cut backs and massive redundancies the migrant job market is getting hammered.

My advice - if you have jobs in India stay with them and do not think about coming to the UK for at least a year.

How rude!!
The point is about analysis and commentary in a news format.
Try to enjoy a joke and not find insult with it.

BBC World News every time!!

Having spent a good deal of time in the US, their idea of world news is anything where there is a direct US involvement. Never seen or even hear a mention of UK troops in Iraq! Then again they did win WWII single handed!

Watching the Olympics in the US is also a bit strange as you only get to see the stuff their team are in. Forget the fact that there are a hundred other countries there. You would get the impression there was only one team and that would be the good ol' USA.

Sorry but CNN is pretty bad.

As for a joke - as I don't watch CNN and as I am not from the US, your joke kind of missed the mark.....

That happens in every country for the Olympics.
Pick Holland for instance, they are a small country but their coverage of the Olympics made it look like they were the only ones in it.
Knocking patriotism doesn't make sense.
I dont agree the coverage didn't mention Iraq.
Sorry you missed the joke, your loss
