Belgian Type-D VISA....How long does it take !!!!

Hello,

I applied for Type-D Belgian VISA from New Delhi almost 2 months ago; it is still no news. My husband is British Citizen, living in Belgium. When I visit the Belgian Website http://www.dofi.fgov.be/infovisa/nederlands/visum.htm and check the status, it says that they are yet to receive the diplomatic file from the Belgian Embassy in Delhi. However, Belgian Embassy in New Delhi tells me that they have sent the diplomatic bag almost a month ago.

Million Dollar question is where the Diplomatic file or bag is then!!!!

Will anybody have any idea, as what may be going on here?

We submitted every relevant paper, which embassy asked me to submit, i.e. marriage certificate, my husband’s certified British Passport Copy and Belgian Identity Card etc…etc.

How long does it take normally for Belgian people to process the application and from which point?
