Status of invitations for 2022 December Ceremony

Hello all,

Been checking my mailbox like a kid at Christmas every day for a few weeks now hoping to see an invitation arrive, but no joy yet.

Thought I'd create a separate topic where anyone who gets one could share the news.

Got a couple of logistical questions as well:
- Are there likely to be multiple time slots per day each on the 5th and 6th? What has been in the past?
- Do you need to take any action once receiving the invitation, like confirming attendance online or something? I will be out of the country for a week in November so wondering if I need to arrange someone to collect my mail while I'm away.

Yes there will be multiple slots per day.

Once you receive the invitation, no further correspondence from you is required, unless you need to cancel or make a special request.

Based on this and the other thread, I'm assuming no one has it yet. They really don't give much time for people to plan a day off to get down there, I'm thankful I have a pretty flexible job but I'm sure it's a big challenge for some people.

For the past ceremony, the attendees started getting invitations on June 7 for the June 20th Ceremony. So we can have a wild guess. But that was for only 950 attendees and the upcoming one was scheduled for two days.

I am in the same boat. Submitted payment on 28/10/2022 and am waiting on the second email. Based on other timelines I feel like I should have it by now. Just going to remain hopeful! I’m sure they’re busy trying to get everyone they can in for the upcoming ceremonies. If I don’t get it this week though, I’ll probably lose hope Sure, it’ll be grand….

Just received the email confirming that the fee has been processed. I think the average is 9-10 days. Now is wait for the invitation, but regardless of that, already booked hotel for Monday and Tuesday. Thanks guys.

I got the 2nd email today 10-11-2022 so I expect you will be receiving confirmation soon. Seems like they are just going in chronological order.

There was a post here stating that someone had received an email stating the invitations would be posted next Monday. The post was subsequently deleted - not sure why. But i'm choosing to believe it will be next Monday (21-10-2022)

Even if they meant yesterday, that would be yesterday. If they were "starting to post them on Monday" the earliest they could start arriving for anyone, under perfect conditions, would be today, and more likely tomorrow through the rest of the week.
