Hi all,
Thanks to the people who gave advice on my Northern Ireland thread.
I do however have questions about another topic, Lave to Remain.
My wife's Leave to Remain - Ten Year Partner route is expiring on 22nd December.
TimeLine wise is as follows:
Summer 2015 - Late 2017 (Done through a solicitor)
Late 2017 - April 2020 (Done through a solicitor)
April 2020 - December 2022 (Done by ourselves online)
POTENTIAL NEW ONE: December 2022 - Maybe April/May 2025
Under Future Applications heading it says: "You should apply for further leave in the prescribed manner prior to the expiry of your current leave."
Does this mean I should be applying for the "FLR(M) application" which costs £1048?
Also would it still be to apply for the A2 Test or the B1 Test?
We have done the last one by ourselves and was relatively easy a couple of years ago. I will be reading more of the guidance on gov.uk but someone on here maybe able to help.
Thanks

Yes your spouse should be applying for FLR (M), this should be the last one that gets you to the 10 years finish line.
Also would it still be to apply for the A2 Test or the B1 Test?
Advisable to do the B1, so that she can use it again later for her ILR.

There was no need to start another thread. You could easily have continued on the previous one, so that folks can have an idea of your history.

Yes you are right, I should have continued from my last thread. Is there a way an admin could join it together?

So we shouldn't be applying for the FRL (FP)?
I read on a site: weblink removed by moderator
"FLR (M) applications are usually the 5 year route to settlement. Applicants on the 10 year route who are applying for Further Leave to Remain on the basis of family life will need to use form FLR (FP), as will Applicants applying under other categories."
Also would it still be to apply for the A2 Test or the B1 Test? Advisable to do the B1, so that she can use it again later for her ILR. - I will get this booked for her.
Thanks again for your help.

Your spouse has been in the UK since 2015. If she meets the requirements for FLR (M) then she can apply for it. If she doesn't, she would be put on FLR (FP) by the HO. Or you could directly apply for FLR(FP). At this juncture, it doesn't matter which one she has. Immediately she gets to the 10 year mark, she can apply for ILR (LR) based on she spending 10 years here in the UK. All visas count towards the 10 year mark. She has a British spouse and family, so she has options.

Hi,
Lastly, is it worth applying now or on Wednesday onwards. I'm asking this as it says 28 days but wasn't too sure if it was before or after.
Thanks

I couldn't answer that question as your stated dates are ambiguous! You haven't given proper dates to work with. Apply 28 days to when you visa would expire.
Or anytime before your visa expires.

Sorry.
It says:
"You must apply before the end of your authorised stay in the UK, but not more than 28 days before completing that period. If you apply earlier than that, your application may be refused."
Thanks
