Error in Child's first passport

Hi,

I applied for my kid's first passport on 8th November and recieved the new passport today (18th November). I had sent her original birth certificate for the application.

On looking at the passport today I realised that the date of birth is incorrect in the passport. This was my error while filling up the form but then the passport office also dint verify the date of birth and printed the passport with the wrong date that I had filled in.

Any advice how can I go on fixing this issue. Advice line say I have to send in a new paper application for change of details. Just wondering if there is any other option available.

You need to return the passport to be corrected with a certified copy of the birth certificate. Send HMPO an online contact via https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... iries.ofml they will provide details on their process for returning the passport.
