Guys,

I applied on 7th October to bombay BHC. They got the report on 18th October. Still result is pending.

I called at BHC and they told me Integra is over and they got the report. now General inquires are going on.

Also I didnt get any mail so far from BHC about various status of my application as some of the other members got. also my status on VFS visa application tracker is not not changes since I applied. I am checking my status at http://www.vfs-uk-in.com/. is it the right site?

Hi guys, I got this email from bhc today.

Thank you for your e-mail. I am writing to inform that you have been granted entry clearance. The passport will be despatched later today.

I am so happy, cant wait to see my passport with the stamp.

Hi all,
My partner want to switch from dependent visa to HSMP. She has a job (in the UK) and it seems one has to go back to home country to get HSMP/Tier 1. Does anybody know how long does the process take and can it be made faster if my partner shows that she has a job and she came to Delhi just to switch to Tier 1. As said , she intends to apply from Delhi. What is the average processing time. She will have employment letter, UK wage slips and other UK documents.

By the way what is Integra?

I recieved my passport stamped and original documents.

My timelines are as follows :

Applied on : 30/10/2008 VFS Bangalore

Integra verification : NO idea.

Passport recieved through courier : 26/11/2008.

I thank all the members of the group for your inputs. Let me know if you have any queries. I have not recieved any letter for the VISA granted from BHC Chennai, Let me know if any of you folks have recieved the letter.

After a long and nerve wrecking wait I have finally received my passport today with a stamp for 3years.

Applied On : 20st OCT, 2008
Center : VFS Bangalore
Integra : No idea
Passport received with stamping : 26th NOV, 2008

That's excellent, Chickycheek. So you're applying for an extension for another 2 years before you decide to apply for residency/PR, I presume.

My Cousin got the Stamping Today
He applied on 24th Oct 08 from Hyd VFS and got visa today for 3 years but the effective date is from 10th January 2009 to 9th Jan 2012..
How it will be possilble?

Why one month delay? any body have this situation

Is it not that your cousin put 10th January 2009 as the travel date in the application on the first page.

That is what they take into consideration when they give the validity.

Applied: Oct 13 in New Delhi
Current status: No visa, no information as of Nov 30
Integra: No Idea of any calls to my company's HR.
VFS status is stuck on 'your visa application was forwarded to the BHC on..'
Have emailed BHC but no response till now.

I was supposed to be in the US on Dec 1, but waiting for my passport to book my tickets. Looks like a lost cause now. Also giving GMAT next week, which looks like 300$ down the drain because of this delay from BHC.

Can someone give me BHC Delhi's number? Is it okay to call them up and ask about a particular case?

I have also applied from VFS delhi on, 23 Oct 2008.

My integra report has been recevied by BHC on 18 nov 2008.

Otherwise no update on web site.

Any way BHC delhi number is 011-26872161.

I suggest you to call them between 11 am to 4 pm.

I called them on 23 Nov 2008.

They told me that they are working on the cases who's integra reports were submitted on or before 21 oct 2008.

Do you have any idea when your integra report was reached at BHC.

I have applied my Tier 1 visa from VFS bangalore on 13 th Nov.and my received my passport with Visa stamped for 3 years on 27 th november

I have seen some people writing that " they havent received any letter from BHC about the grant of VISA "

it wud be gr8 help if some one can throw some light on this...

My wishes to all of them who got their Visa Stamped and good luck for the people who hav applied ..

An update on my case. Applied on Oct 13, called & mailed VFS, mailed BHC, to no avail. Got the BHC number from here (thanks S_saini), called them today and coincidentally my visa was ready to be picked up!

3 yr visa, duly stamped

They kept a lot of my original documents though - like IT returns, payslips etc. Have to write an application to BHC and get them out.

It started showing in late evening that passport is ready for pickup. So, would go to VFS-Delhi tomorrow evening and find out.

Got my Tier 1 (General) Today.

Applied on 10-Oct-08
Integra verification: 14-Oct-08 (HR only)
Stamped from 01-Dec-08 (Although I had requested from 1-Jan-09)

They didn't return couple of original bank-statements. VFS suggested to visit BHC personally to collect.

Now Next Step: When should I quit my job and travel??? Lets see...

We're approaching the 30 working days time frame soon.

Strangely, no. of posts updating receipt/refusal of visa has dwindled drastically this week.

Status change in VFS website: 03rd Dec
Recd on: 04th Dec

My piece of suggestion would be: prepare all your docs & covering letter from the case worker point of view. After all he/she has to understand and ratify ur case.

Most important stuff is I did not provide with accommodation proof.
