Have you provided evidence of your English language ability in a previous application?

Post by anan_88 » Wed Dec 21, 2022 2:54 pm

Hi,

My spouse has an ILR and is applying for her citizenship application.

This question under "English Language" section: "Have you provided evidence of your English language ability in a previous application?" is somewhat confusing.

What should be the answer to this question (Yes / No) if the applicant:
- Has been granted ILR recently, and provides date the ILR was granted in this application
- Passed an approved English language test for the ILR application, and will provide the same English language test reference for this application
- Answers "Yes" to the question "Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013?"

Or, is "previous" referred to a visa application before ILR?

Many thanks.

Or, is "previous" referred to a visa application before ILR?

Many thanks.
