Document return after first passport

We received the first passport on 15th December. I understand that documents may take longer to be returned with the holiday season.

Would the HMPO share any tracking information for the documents? I paid for tracking with the application so just wondering if there is anyway to track where the docs are?

Use the tracking number on the self addressed return envelope if you did this

Thank you, I just paid for the documents to be returned by secure delivery (£5 on the online application). I didn't supply pre-paid envelope. I was hoping some members may be able to share how/ when they got tracking number from HMPO for the documents return. Obv slightly worried bcz it is the Naturalisation certificate and foreign passport which are pricy and painful to replace..

I received my passport on 12th Dec and the documents returned today, 29/12/2022 so don't worry you will receive them soon

That's reassuring thank you. Just out of interest, were the documents returned by TNT courier and did you get any tracking number through sms?

My documents were delivered by TNT and no prior notification received. My wife received her first passport on 17th Dec and her documents returned by Royal mail today with tracking email received 2 days ago.
