Advice on Gap in Reckonable Residence for Naturalisation

Post by MeharAli » Fri Jan 13, 2023 1:34 am

Respected Members,

Please Advice me, I am planning to apply for naturalisation.
After my first five year IRP (Stamp 4 EUfam), I just received PR Stamp 4 EUfam valid for 10 year. There is no gap between both cards.
But I spend few extra days out of country in last five years, which are like;

in 2018, 70 days out of country (March to May 2018)
in 2019, 21 Days out of country
in 2020, 13 Days out of country
in 2021, 0 Days
in 2022, 45 days out of country (Jan to Feb 2022)
in 2023, 0 Days

"My first IRP permission was started on 20.02.2018"

Please advice me when I should apply for naturalisation ?

Your reply will be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

If your year total is above 42 days, it means you have to spend in total 5 years + 45 (in your case, for example) days. So 20.02.2018 (+ a few days for gap months, etc, so let's say 23) + 70 + 45 = about 20.06.2023.
