Hi
I was hoping someone could give me some advise.
I have an MA in English (Linguistics and Literature) from abroad, plus a document from the UK NARIC attesting that this degree is comparable to a bachelor's degree in the UK.
I applied for citizenship in October 2022, believing that the documentation I possessed satisfied the English language requirement.
The Home Office, however, sent me an email requesting a letter from Ecctis/UK Naric confirming that my degree was taught in English at a level B1 or higher.
I provided Masters degree, final transcript and university letter confirming English as medium of instruction to Ecctis Visas and Nationality Service (English Proficiency)
However, I have received the following email from Ecctis.
''In order to support the assessment of your qualification, we require a copy of your transcript and final diploma/certificate for any previous academic qualifications. If you would like the preceding qualification to be included in the assessment, please add it as an additional qualification through the "Update/Amend your application" section of the user portal. If documents are uploaded to this qualification entry, we will proceed with the assessment of this qualification alone''.
Happy to send Secondary school, higher secondary school and bachelor degree ( previously sent to NARIC) but don't have medium of instruction letters for these qualifications. (if they ask)
Shall I add these as additional qualifications or just upload them with MA English entry?
Can I do B1 instead?
