Work Permit Dependant Visa -Bank Statements

Post by SuRaRu » Sun Nov 30, 2008 12:22 am

Hi Guys,
I am in Uk. My Dependant's (Wife & Baby[7 months old]) are in India.
And they need to apply for Work Permit Dependant Visa in INDIA for their travel to UK .

My Query:
1)We need to submit Visa application within 7 days from the date we
receive Bank Statements, otherwise the Visa application will be
invalid(this is what we understand from visa helplines in India).
Now i am in UK & when i ask Bank for statements till date it takes 5-6 days to reach my Uk residence & then i have to send Bank Statements to India that will take another 5-6 days to reach to India. So total 12 days minimum.
So in this case dependant visa application might get rejected. I want to ensure it does not get rejected. So please suggest me an alternative.

Any solution please... Please suggest me an option/ alternative soon.
:)

7 days? That sounds ridiculously short.

No worries. Scan and send it to them, so that they can apply immediately.

I have done the same for my dependents, it was approved.
