marraige to non uk citizen...help please

hi all,
i`ve just got engaged to a non uk resident after a year of dating,she is from Belarus and is here on a work visa wich lasts for 3yrs...we intend to get married in the summer of `09...can anyone help with what procedure`s we should take and paperwork to obtain???should she go home to get an fiance visa or doe`s her work permit allow her to stay until it ends???
if anyone can shed some light on this situation it would be greatly apprieciated...

Subject to the laws in place at the time, after marriage and before her current leave expires, if you are British or settled, then she may apply for FLR(M) (285) and subsequently SET(M) (288).

ok so after reading forms flm..would i be right in thinking we can get married then submit our application??do we have to inform registrar office beforehand??

She'll need a CoA to marry, then a spouse visa, assuming ur both over 21 of course.

What's her skillset? Don't see that many FSU citizens on WP/HSMP......
