No need to cancel your appointment. Type all your issues and concerns in a cover letter and upload it alongside your documents. Everything would be looked at.LisaB wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 5:42 pmI was uploading my documents and realized that I made 2 mistakes; one I am not so concerned about, but the other might be problematic and I am wondering if I should withdraw my application and cancel my Biometrics appointment on Friday and start over. The one that I am not worried so much about is the monthly amount of mortgage I pay; that was a typo and easily explained. The other is that I had forgotten that indeed, I had used a different surname when I entered the UK first in 2015 on a layover to Ireland and last in 2016 when I came to Scotland to visit my fiancé. I had not obtained my new passport with my maiden name until 2017 before I came to live here. Is this a question where I would actually need to do the whole application over, or is a printout with the hard copy with the corrections, a letter of explanation and a download of my passport to the documents section sufficient? Many thank in advance!
Both issues are totally irrelevant to your application. No need for any corrections at all. Any evidence you upload or submit during the appointment ends up in the same place, there is no differenceLisaB wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2023 12:09 amShould I upload the written correction on my application with my covering letter, or should I just upload the covering letter and then have the written in correction application uploaded at my appointment? Will it need to be the full application, or just the page that I have corrected? Thank you!
