Hi,
I need to ask a question. My cusin is getting married in August in Pakistan. Her husband is on PSW which will expire Mar 2024 so he can't apply her visa as dependent. Therefore, she will visit him on Visit visa after marriage to UK and meanwhile he is trying to switch visa on Work Permit.

His earning from 2 jobs are around 18,000. Query I have is

- Should I sponsor my cusin on Visit visa as Im British Citizen and I'm on decent job. This way she can stay 2-3 months after marriage
or
- My cusin husband apply her visit visa after marriage in August

If someone please advise which option is btter then I will really appreciate

Either of you can invite your cousin. You being British doesn't give extra favours to the invite. She can even apply by herself using a hotel reservation if she has the funds for it.

Your cousin would be judged on her own merit, not on either of you. Once married, then there could be a bit of variation based on the spouse here in the UK. Not before.
