Are business bank statements required?

Applicant is applying for a visit visa and has most documents ready. The applicant has his own business (partnership). The documents to submit include his personal tax returns and bank statements. This is 3 years personal tax return which shows his annual income and 6 months personal bank statements showing a consistent payment monthly (payment is around what is stated on their previous tax return).

Do they need to include the business tax returns and bank statements too? The issue here is that the tax returns do not show profit/loss and the business bank statements have a lot of cash transactions (it's a retail business so customers pay in cash and this is paid into the bank account every day).

It's for a standard 6 month visitor visa (to see family).

Only personal documents are required.
