Inviting Parents for 2 year visa

Hello, I'm currently living in the UK for 5 years with my British Spouse and Child and I'm on an FLR-M visa which is valid for 6 more months and will do an ILR application in time. I want to invite my parents to the UK this year to visit me and my family and have asked my parents to apply for a 2-year visa instead of 6 months visa. Since it's hard to collect all documents every year and travel to a biometric appointment center which is 6 hours away from my parent's town in India. My parents previously visited me and my family last year for a few weeks. They have all the similar paperwork ready that they applied with last year.

The main reason for them to visit is to stay with us for a few weeks and spend time with me and my family.
but my current BRP is expiring in July 2023. Will this affect my parents 2 year visit visa application? Or will they grant 6 months based on my BRP validity? I do not want to waste my money please help if someone has been in a similar situation.

My British wife is not working so she cannot sponsor them at the moment. Any help will be great Thanks.

Owing to their successful visit last year and with correctly meeting the requirements on the current application, they will most probably get the 2year visitor visa granted. Do submit enough evidence of ties to home country.

I'll complete filling out the visit visa application this week(in march), but I might get a biometrics appointment next week in April 2023. I'll be paid this week and the latest monthly bank will be on 6th April which shows the latest salary transaction. should I wait 1-2 weeks and get all the latest documents again for April month or upload everything from the date of application ?

Hope you're not submitting only one month bank statement? should I wait 1-2 weeks and get all the latest documents again for April month or upload everything from the date of application ? Upload everything before biometrics. Once the form has been submitted, documents are never too early, neither too late. Provided it's attached between form filling and biometrics.

That should be alright, 3months statement seems the minimum required.
