Does the dependents needs to apply visa in case main applicant change employer and cos

Hi All,

I have been working in uk on tier2/skilled worker visa since 2020 valid till this year, now i m switching my job, the new employer says they gonna transfer my cos. Now I need some advice regarding my dependent/partner, If a change my cos do my dependent has to apply as well with me for new visa?

Please advise if anyone know about this.

As far as I understand, no, they must apply before their current permission expires.
