Contact number of ISD

Hi All

I'm in the process of applying for Hubbys citizenship through me as Irish citizen.
I'm trying to look for a contact number for the ISD to ask a few q's as we are in Northern Ireland.

Any such luck?

I don't think you can call them - there was a number, but it's discontinued since Covid.
You can send them an email (citizenshipinfo@justice.ie), but it might be a better shot to ask questions here or look through the forums and see if similar questions were answered.

Answers most of my questions :)

Would you by any chance know who we can use in NI to witness the documents etc?
Would a head master suffice? I know down south yes but need to make sure for up north too

What exactly do you mean?
If section 15 and 15A on Form 8 - I would say no, since it's not a member of notary public, you'll be better off going with a solicitor (obviously one registered with Law Society). Where does it say headmaster is okay to use in ROI?
For three witnesses in Section 14 - yes, it's not a requirement your witness is in a regulated profession.

Not gonna work in the south either.

Only solicitors and peace commissioners are allowed to witness your application.
