Traveling abroad and coming back to UK after naturalisation ceremeny

Background info:

• I'm a Polish citizen holding only a Polish passport
• My Polish ID card has expired in 2022
• I have a settled status since 2020
• I've submitted the UK naturalisation application and had biometric appointment at the end of March 2023
• The posts in the naturalisation timelines topic on this forum show the current duration of the naturalisation process (from application to ceremony) to be around 3-4 months
• If my application is successful, I may be able to have the naturalisation ceremony somewhere around June-July 2023
• I'm planning to attend friend's wedding at the end of July 2023 in Poland
• Considering current timelines of British passport applications to be around 4-6 weeks; if I apply for a British passport sometime in Juny/early July 2023 I'm unlikely to have a British or Polish passport sent back in time for the flight at the end of July 2023.

Questions:

1. Can I travel to Poland in July 2023 after my naturalisation ceremony and come back at the end of August 2023 to UK with my Polish passport?
2. If yes, should I have any other documents with me on my return to UK (e.g. naturalisation certificate or something similar)?
3. If yes, can I apply for a British passport after I return to UK from my trip at the end of August 2023?

Yes. You, actually, have to - Poland explicitly wants you to use Polish documents if you're a Polish citizen, afaik.

I would say yes, just to exclude the chances of you being admitted as a visitor on your Polish passport.
