Getting german passport with german ancestor - difficult case

Hello everyone. I need a consular registration for my ancestor because she is my second great grandmother that was born in Germany in 1875 and migrated to argentina in 1885. However, she doesn't seem to have it. The thing is, her parents died in Argentina due to Cholera during 1886 or 1887. So we might be able (I think) to fight this requirement since she was a minor when this happened and she was left alone in the country as a child.

Plus, we found one google online diary that shows that she was "forced" by the justice system of Argentina to be taken away from the german community and put at the care of an argentinean family. I have nothing on paper about this, it's a diary from 1887 or so that was digitalized by google ebooks. The German community complained publishing something in a German diary and hoping to find family members living in Germany that would take her instead.

For any of the above reasons, do you think I would be able to fight and win this case and get a german passport without having the consular registration?

I'm also working on my italian passport. But since I could potentially have the german too, I was thinking, why not, in case the italian one doesn't work out. Thanks everyone!

I wish I could give you direct input on this, but as this sound very complex you likely need to find a good German immigration lawyer and perhaps an Argentinian lawyer as well for the human rights aspects. This probably goes beyond the experience of most of members here.

Yes, I might need legal help with this one. But the argentinean agencies I contacted about this case, refused to take it. So I need someone willing to fight a bit . It might not even be needed. They might just accept the case right away through the normal procedure, if I manage to explain the situation properly.
