AN Application Trips outside UK Mistake

Post by TIVAman » Wed May 10, 2023 9:42 am

Hi all, I’m hoping someone on this forum will be able to alleviate some concerns I have as I think I’ve messed up my application, after submission!

I am here as an EU settled person with ILR and have lived / worked in the UK for 10 years. I meet the residency requirement for both 12 months and 5 years.
However, even though I triple checked my application form before submitting it, I realised that due to running out of room on the “Trips outside UK” section I’ve missed out some important trips! One of them resulted in a visa stamp in my passport, which I supplied with my documentation upload.
I’m now worried that will cause a rejection!

I’ve already uploaded/submitted my evidence on UKVCAS and have the biometrics appointment this Friday. Can I upload a letter to explain this accidental omission?

It would be a letter of explanation outlining the additional trips I wasn’t able to fit on the application form.

Very worried they will miss this info and reject my application on the basis I haven’t declared all my trips (there were so many short trips in the last 5 years due to work etc).

Thank you all for your help!

Providing the letter to address the above which you take along to and will be uploaded when you attend your biometrics should suffice.

Thank you - I thought I had made a massive error by accidentally omitting those details.

Even though I’ve already clicked the documents ‘submit’ button on UKVCAS, can I still ask them to upload the letter during my biometrics appointment later this week?
