COS Cancelled- Can I Enter UK again

Hi there,

My COS is cancelled this January, but my visa is valid till June 2024.
Can I enter UK again, as I'm out of the country right now.
I did check the right to work. It is still valid.
I need some information please.

If COS is cancelled and presumably no longer on the employment with the employer , the primary purpose of the visa is no longer served.
IMHO, You may try if not risk averse; except you get another visa you are qualified for re-entry into the UK on the current one not advisable.

What do you mean with CoS cancelled? The CoS was valid to apply for a SW visa only. After three months it expires.

If you were made redundant in January, your permission to stay (or enter) in the UK most likely is no longer valid. It doesn't matter your BRP is still valid or your details on the right to work portal shows otherwise. The information on the portal can take several weeks or months to be updated.

The border officers at the port of entry have their own system to check your current status.

Normally a curtailment notice would be issued to bring your visa to an end and until that point no action can be taken to remove you from the U.K.

HOWEVER if you have left the U.K. before the curtailment is issued no further action is taken by UKVI to continue with the curtailment. The visa is cancelled on the internal systems and that is it.

On your return with the BRP card it would show you no longer have the right to enter and Border Force will simply turn you around and you head back home.
