Naturalisation or British Passport for Kid

Post by km0001 » Wed May 17, 2023 11:47 pm

Hello

Apologies if this has been addressed before but I wanted to double check that I have understood correctly.

Both me and my partner have an ILR. For baby born after the ILR was granted, we do not need to apply for naturalisation and can apply straight for a British passport. Is that correct?

Thank you in advance

If baby was born in the UK or qualifying territory, then yes. Else, no.
