If you apply past Jan 2025 - sure; you need 5 out of 9 years.Yuki_Vm_2023 wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:24 pmQuestion 1 - Could I choose to start from Jan 2020 for my 5 years like below?
Yes. you add it to your total 5 year census (so your needed time in Ireland is 5 years + 60 days).Yuki_Vm_2023 wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:24 pmQuestion 2 - Let's say I will be able to use the 5 years starting from Jan 2020. During the period of Jan 2022 to Jan 2023, I was outside of Ireland for 60 days. All other years, I followed the 6-week rules.
Where should I add the 60 days? From Jan 2025? then my application date would be Mar 2025?
No; last year has to be continuous residence, meaning if you leave for more than 6 weeks, it doesn't count and you need to do another year. In both cases, the final 12 months must be continuous residence in the State with up to 6 weeks allowed to facilitate foreign travel for business family or holiday purposes
You need to score 150 points via the Scorecard system - https://www.irishimmigration.ie/wp-cont ... dency.xlsxYuki_Vm_2023 wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:24 pmQuestion 3 - I still use the 5 years starting from Jan 2020. I have my bills/rent agreement shown as below, does this look okay? As 1st year and 3rd year, I would have a few months without a rent agreement or bills.
I am using the start date from my first stamp and calculating based on the new guidance in May 2023: https://www.irishimmigration.ie/wp-cont ... cument.pdfmeself2 wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 7:43 pmIf you apply past Jan 2025 - sure; you need 5 out of 9 years.Yuki_Vm_2023 wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:24 pmQuestion 1 - Could I choose to start from Jan 2020 for my 5 years like below?Yes. you add it to your total 5 year census (so your needed time in Ireland is 5 years + 60 days).Yuki_Vm_2023 wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:24 pmQuestion 2 - Let's say I will be able to use the 5 years starting from Jan 2020. You have rent agreement (50 points) and Bill (10 points?). Can you explain how do you get 150 points each year?
Keep in mind things might change drastically before 2025, as it happened with the Scorecard system.
Hopefully - that's extremely new guidance, no definite answer yet.
As a) each bill was 10 points by the old Scorecard system and b) bank statement mentioned 6 months, I'd say providing 6 bills per each period should do the job.
Did you have a legal permission for the duration of these 4 months (and were you in Ireland)? People mentioned applying for permissions like LTR with an explanatory note about it and it went through okay; not sure about citizenship, but if you want to make sure, stay for another 4 months (I assume year in question isn't the one just before the application) and explain it in the cover letter.FidoDido29 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2023 1:10 pmwhat would be the scenario where IRP card as expired during Covid Lockdown and renewal was not possible and now shows a gap in residency calculator of 4 months? Do I need to wait or just apply?
