Referee professional job

Hi

My friend who is currently a manager (consulting arm) at PwC, would it be considered acceptable for him to act as one of my referee (the one with professional job)? Since consultant is not clearly stated within the list of professional job so I just want to make sure that he is qualified.

Is referee a qualified accountant perhaps? Or member of another professional body. Knowing the organisation you mention I have always dealt with qualified accountants.

Well, he is in consulting arm so probably not qualified accountant but certainly have specified qualification to be a consultant given that he is at manager rank now (have been working at PwC for 6 years). I would double check with him whether he is member of another professional body.
