psw rejection due to internet bank statements

Hi YA ,MY NAME IS JAI. I APPLIED FOR PSW ON 28TH OF OCTOBER AND MY APPLICATION WAS REFUSED DUE TO INTERNET BANK STATEMENTS, EVENTHOUGH THE STATEMENTS WERE STAMPED ,SIGNED AND DATED BY BANK OFFICIALS,THE HO REJECTED.HO SAID I DINT KEPT THE COVERING LETTER FOR MY INTERNET BANK STAEMENTS.HO SAID I NEED TO PROVE BY SHOWING THEM A COVERING LETTER FROM BANK WITH NEW APPLICATION AND AGAIN 400POUNDS FOR MY APPLICATION.BUT MY QUERY IS WHETHER I HAVE TO SHOW AGAIN BANK STATEMENTS FOR THREE MONTHS ACCORDING TO NEW RULES OF HO FROM 31ST OCTOBER ,OR JUST SUBMITT A NEW APPLICATION BY SHOWING/PROOF OF MY COVERING LETTER FROM THE BANK AS THEY NEEDED.COZ I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO SHOW THREE MONTHS BANK STATEMENTS AS MY VISA IS GETTIN EXPIRED ON JAN 31ST.

well u have lot of time, and u should read the guidance notes which clearly states that if u provide online bank statements, u should also provide letter from bank about min balance.

tnx 4 ur suggestion...i went through all the guidance notes and applied for psw ,but the bank dint gave me covering letter inspite of my request.now i dont have enough time to show my 3 months bank statements any more as my visa is gettin expired on jan 31st,so tell me whethr i need to show my proof of evidence of bank letter and submitt with new application r any other option...

Hi friends... I had applied for PSW on 31st of october showing one month of minimum balance in my a/c. MY PSW was rejected and I got my passport back today on 6th of december and the basis of rejection was that my bank statement didn't have my name printed on it. Though I can ask them to reconsider my application, I would like to know if I would have to show a minimum balance of 800 pounds for another three months? or just the same statement which I had provided would do with my name printed on it? I dont have time as my visa expires on 31st of jan and I dont even have a minimum balance of 800 for the last three months so I have to start over again. please advise.

If you are reapplying you will have to provide a latest bank statement for last 3 months

Why didn't you went for Admin Review for rejection of your stamped e-statements.

The tiergeneralguidance 204 (i) clearly states - "Alternatively an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in question will be accepted. This stamp should appear on every page of the statement.".

So I don't think of any reason why they shouldn't accept it.
